Hello Gorgeous
I hope you all had a good month, and are already starting to feel the Christmas atmosphere. I did not even realise when London started to look so magical once again, the lights are everywhere, the ice skating rings are filled with ice skaters and the window displays look wonderful. This month I have been focusing on skincare and body care as with the colder months, I noticed that my skin is more vulnerable to damaging effects of temperature differences.

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask
When I discovered this mask in Selfridges, I was amazed by the beautiful smell of the Manuka honey. It was the main reason for my compulsive purchase (guilty as always). Having tried and tested this tube of wonder, I can honestly say that this has become one of my favourite masks. It is moisturising, cleansing and has antibacterial properties, so it is great for all skin types.

I found this mask to be very hydrating, and also purifying, clearing out any spots and blemishes. I used it 2-3 times a week, layering a thick layer over face and neck, and leaving it on for 20 minutes, then washed it off with warm water. The ‘user’ experience is great as it is not messy, smells divine and is easy to remove, leaving your skin feeling smooth and glowing. (Available here, £22)

Melvita L’Or Bio Extraordinary Oil
Recently, I was invited to a Melvita Press event and I received this Extraordinary Oil to try. As you all know, I am a fan of oils so this was a very exciting product for me to try. The Melvita Oil is 100% natural, made with 5 essential oils :

– Argan oil from Morocco (Skincare properties)
– Kendi oil from Indonesia & Inchi oil from Amazonia (Regenerating properties)
– Buriti oil from Brazil (Promotes healthy skin glow)
– Pracaxi oil from Amazonia (Improves hair shine & strength)

You can use Melvita Oil for face, body and hair as it has great properties for skin as well as for hair. This month I’ve been loving this product, especially with the new, gorgeous packaging! I used it daily as it is very nourishing, so it is perfect for the winter season. After a couple of uses my skin was silky, smooth, and glowing. The oil is not heavy, so it gets absorbed quickly into the skin, meaning you can get dressed and go. It smells divine, as it is a mix of bergamot, basil, jasmine, cedar and rose. Definitely a must- have product! (Available here, £15)

This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up

Best. Primer. Ever. This is a must-try product for every beauty fan out there. I always thought that if you don’t wear liquid foundation, there is no need for a primer, until I tried this one. I don’t use a lot of make-up and I tend to stick to powder foundation as my skin is not problematic. I noticed that before I started using a primer, half way through the day my concealer and powder seemed to disappear and I had to reapply again.
I started using this primer last summer when I got a sample, and since then I am obsessed with it, hence why I purchased a full size bottle. It is worth noting that it is a completely different primer to what you normally get, as it is a 3 in 1 product – primer, mask and moisturiser in one. It has a texture of a moisturiser, it is light and easy to apply. You only need a pea sized amount to cover your face, then let it sink in for few seconds and your skin is full prepped for makeup. When I applied my concealer, powder and bronzer, my skin looked perfect, and it seemed like I was actually wearing foundation. I described the effect as airbrush finish, as the primer gives your skin a boost, plumps it up and smooth out any imperfections. (Available here, £30)

L’Occitane Shea Light Comforting Cream
It has been a long time since I reviewed L’Occitane, but as a loyal fan, I always end up in their stores, trying products and purchasing new items. I tried this product last year, and got another sample this year. I always seem to try it during the autumn and winter months, and it just fits in with the cosy evenings, candles and winter weather.
The texture of this cream is very light, so it sinks into the skin almost immediately, hydrating your skin. Like the whole Shea range it has a comforting smell, so it is a cherry on top during my pamper evenings (Available here, £26). You can use it as a day or night cream, but for night I would recommend the more hydrating version  Shea Ultra Rich Comforting cream. (Available here, £28).

Aveda Dry Remedy

During the colder months, my hair becomes very dry so I need to use a lot of hair oil to ensure it stays smooth and shiny. This month I chose Aveda Dry Remedy, as it is filled with the amazing BBuriti oil, which ensures that the hair stays moisturised, supple and shiny.

What I liked about this oil that it controlled frizz so my hair looked smooth throughout the day. 2-4 drops is enough and you should use it daily for best results. The oil has a herbal scent which is very relaxing  so I am sure you will want to use it in the mornings and evenings 😉 (Available here, £20.50)

Ania’s advice
1. Focus on skincare
2. Use facemasks 1-2 a week
3. Visit Winter Wonderland!

Hi there!

Hope you are enjoying the first week of November. My week has been so busy that I haven’t even noticed that we are already in November. I have been running around the press events, doing projects for university and I had literally no time for anything. I recently tried some new products, which were great and even thought I was tight on time, I always find the time for beauty 🙂

The products you see on the picture are from AEOS(Active Energised Organic Skincare). I am sure you will like the products with their unique three phase system which encapsulates the living energy of the natural ingredients. Enjoy!

AEOS Philosophy
AEOS is an organic brand, and its products are created with extracts and essential oils of herbs and plants in such a way that they bring new life and vitality to the soil in which they grow. AEOS has life giving properties which translate into healthy skin, and well-being of our own natures. The products are organic, contain no toxins and are made using the innovative technology using tocopherois (Vit E) from natural sources.
AEOS was created ‘for the woman seeking her own mystery and beauty. For a new world waiting for us to bring more out of who we are into being. Dynamic. Exceptional. Even revolutionary’ (Mike Booth)

About AEOS
Active – the products and ingredients used are alive. They have been sourced from soil which has been nourished and activated. The enzymes that are present in AEOS skincare are known for their active properties.
Energised – the manufacturer of AEOS uses a unique energising process to enhance each element contained within AEOS products. The primary intention within all products is that they will only activate for the ‘greater good’ of the person using the products.
Organic – the ingredients are sourced from AEOS’ biodynamic farm, and the other ingredients are taken from other organic and biodynamic farms around the world.
Skincare – AEOS introduced the new concept of three phase system. The inclusion of cutting edge spagyric tinctures of crystal energies together with the waveforms of colour make this a range that offers more than just skincare.

3 Phase System
AEOS products are designed to be used as a 3 phase system to allow the products to penetrate deeper into the skin and to have the best possible effects.

Phase 1 Renewal (Cleansing)
Gentle Cleansing Lotion or Dew Facial Wash
Use the gentle lotion to clean your face after the night. The herbal smell is perfect for the morning as it helps me wake up and makes me feel fresh and ready to go. On the days when I was in a rush I used the Dew Facial Wash as I could just spray it on a cotton pad, wipe my face and apply my moisturiser.
Phase 2 Rebalance (Moisturise)
Energising Conditioner
When you have cleansed your face, apply the Energising Conditioner, which will bring the right balance to your skin. This is a very important part of the beauty regime as it influences how your make-up will look.
Refreshing Hydrating Mist
Follow the conditioner with a the Refreshing Hydrating Mist. I am a fan of mists, and I realise that many people do not understand their purpose. I use them everyday before using make-up or throughout the day when I want to revive my look. I really liked this hydrating mist, and I think this was one of my favourites from this set. Whenever sprayed it, I immediately fresh (if you know what I mean), definitely a must have.
Phase 3 Replenish (Regeneration)
Enriched Moisturiser (Blue)
The final phase of the morning routine is applying the enriched moisturiser to nourish your skin, and give it all the nutrients it needs for the day. I only applied a little bit as it was very efficient. I left it on for 1 minute to let it sink in and then followed with make-up. This moisturiser is perfect as it is quite light, so it did not make me skin feel greasy, but it provided just the right amount of moisture my skin needed.

Phase 1 Renewal (Cleansing)
Cleansing Oil De Maq
First remove all your make up using the Cleansing Oil. This oil efficiently melted all the make-up including mascara. It is quite a light oil so it can be easily distributed on the face and it smells of lemongrass and herbs.
Dew Facial Wash
Use the facial wash to remove any remaining make-up and oil. It is very refreshing and I like the cleansing oil it smells of lemongrass.

Phase 2 Rebalance (Moisturise)
Refreshing Hydrating Mist
Spray your face with the Refreshing Hydrating Mist and let it sink in…
Phase 3 Replenish (Regeneration)
Enriched Moisturiser (Blue)
Apply the moisturiser

Realive Serum (Blue)

Using a serum is a very important part of the evening routine, so after you apply your moisturiser, a serum shouldd follow. It provides your skin with nutrients and hydrates it so that your skin can regenerate during your beauty sleep. I loved this serum, it felt very luxurious when using and one pump was enough to cover my face.

Results from using this range
This is a lovely range, and I am glad I could try all of the products. When I was using these products, and following the three phase system, I could see improvements in my skin. It felt moisturised, and most importantly it was glowing. I found that the routine was very relaxing and calming which after these stressful days was exactly what I needed. My favourites from this range were the Enriched Moisturiser, Face Wash, Refreshing Hydrating Mist and the Realive Serum 🙂

Have you tried AEOS? (Available here, £68)
Ania’s advice
1. Invest in organic skincare
2. Try 3 phase system
3. Remember to relax

Hi Gorgeous

Yes, it is official. Last weekend we did change our clocks to the winter time, which means that summer is officially over. This does not mean that we need to cry and look back at our summer photos and wish it did not end. This time is the perfect time to embrace the new season and the beauty of winter. If you are still regretting the end of the summer period, I found something that will keep you busy, October Favourites!

NYX Illuminator (Shade Magnetic)
NYX has been loved in the US and now it is finally coming to the UK. It recently opened its counter in Selfridges and it is also available in Boots. This illuminator looks really good on cheeks, it has quite a lot of shimmer so it gives you this fresh, glowing look + you can use it on face and body. It blends in easily, and it is available in 5 shades so if you have a different skin colour you will find something for yourself as well 😉 (Available here, £8.50)

NYX Butter Lipstick (Shade Lollies)
The range of butter lipsticks is my favourite as they moisturise your lips, so you will not get the dry lips feeling half way through the day. This colour is quite natural, so it is ideal for everyday makeup  look. Lovely packaging, lovely product. If you are a lipstick fan, NYX Butter Lipsticks are the ones to try. (Available here, £5.50)
F.O.Y Absolute Nectar Massage Oil
Fountain of Youth is a new brand which specialises in anti ageing products. I recently tried their nourishing massage oil and I actually loved it. It comes in a great size of 200 ml so it will lasts for a long time as you only need to use a little bit. It has a delicate, quite sweet scent which add that ‘something’ to your massage. I used it as a part of my evening routine, and massaged it into my skin, to get silky skin the next day. It is filled with three oils, jojoba, avocado and olive oil, which are all great for your skin, and will keep it nourished and glowing. (Available here

Vita Coco Coconut Oil
As you probably noticed, I am a fan of all sorts of oils and everything that is natural. Vita Coco recently introduced this coconut oil to the UK market and I was sent a sample to try out. What is important when choosing a coconut oil, is that it is organic, extra virgin and cold pressed. If it fulfils all these criteria then it there are good chances that it is a good quality oil. I liked using this oil for my body as a moisturiser, for my hair as a mask and for my legs as a shaving cream. You can also use this for cooking, so if you get bored of it in your bathroom, it will make your food taste great 🙂 For a free sample go here. (Available in Boots, £10/500ml)

Etude House Baking Powder

The thing with Korean products is that they all have such cute packaging *-*. This baking powder is literally a white powder to which you add water and then wash your face. It has no particular scent, but thats good because you don’t need to be worry about having of artificial fragrance on your face. It deeply cleanses your skin, and after few weeks of using I could see that my complexion looked brighter and clearer. Definitely a must-have. I would recommend it for more combination or oily skin, and if you have dry skin then use it only twice a week (Available here £8.99).
Nanokeratin RE Vitalise
I am always up for trying new haircare products, but since my hair is quite dry, I am constantly on a lookout for nourishing products. Before trying out the Nanokeratin products, I heard a lot good things about the brand so finally I got the chance to test it out! I enjoyed using the shampoo as well as the conditioner. The key was to let the products work on your hair instead of washing them off immediately to get the optimal results. The shampoo and the mask combined together made my hair smooth, frizz free and revitalised it. I am definitely going to consider purchasing a full size product. The only downside is that it is quite pricey but your hair is worth the investment 😉

Ania’s advice:
1. Change something in your beauty routine
2. Love your skin
3. Drink Pumpkin Spice Latte

Hello Beautiful

Lately, I have been really interested in Korean Skincare products so I decided to try them out and see if they really work. I am addicted o face masks so receiving these masks from the Mask House in the UK was probably the best delivery this month 🙂 In this post I will talk about sheet masks, sleeping creams and a red spot treatment <3 Enjoy!

Junico Crystal All-in-one Mask (Aloe)
This mask seems to have a solution for everyone. I used it as I wanted to tighten my pores and cleanse my face. After 20 minutes I could see improvement in the appearance of my skin, it looked clearer and the pores were less visible. My skin also looked fresh and energised, even though I only slept for six hours. This mask is also ideal for a more mature skin, as it contains collagen, hyaluronic acid which enhance elasticity and improve wrinkles. (Available here for £1.19)

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask – Shea Butter
This mask is is incredibly moisturising, so if you have dry and tight skin, this will help. I liked this mask but I did prefer the sleeping creams as they seemed to be more nourishing. Nice mask, nice packaging, worth trying out. (Available here for £1.19)
Bee-tox Stem Cell Mask
This mask is made with bee venom, which is regarded as a natural alternative to botox. It aims to tighten and smooth the skin, moisturise, whiten, stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and brighten the face. It has a lot of uses so it’s a mask for everyone. I applied this mask after a long day when my skin was looking dull and tired. I left this mask on for 20 minutes, and after my skin felt really nourished, moisturised and looked perfectly rested. On my repurchase list! (Available here for £1.19)

Etude House Moonlight In Spoon Blending Cream Green Tea
The smell of this product is lovely. I could definitely smell the delicate green tea, which during an evening routine felt very relaxing and calming. The sleeping cream comes in a little spoon and inside there is cream and gel which you mix together to get the final product. It is quite a rich cream, which feels very luxurious (I don’t get that feeling with a lot of skincare products). You leave it on overnight and in the morning you wash it off with water. My skin in the morning was revitalised, nourished and looked glowing. The sleeping creams are my favourite products from this selection of products. (Available here for £1.99)

Etude House Moonlight in Spoon Blending Cream Evening Primrose
This blending cream is similar to the Green tea variety, but this one aims to make your skin brighter and moisturised. If you are not having any skin problems, this would be more adequate for you than the green tea blending cream. I love the scent for both of these products, and I will be purchasing the other variations soon as well. (Available here for £1.99)

Etude House AC Clinic Intense Red Spot Balm
Recently, I started to get breakouts on my face which I am trying to get rid of as quickly as possible. The Red Spot Balm is filled with Salicylic Acid which has antibacterial properties and Hinoki Cypress extracts which heal blemishes. I tried this balm, hoping it would help heal the spots, and I did notice improvements after few uses. The redness disappears, they healed quicker than normally, and the scars faded quicker than usually.
Ania’s advice
1. Face masks are great for your skin
2. Try sheet masks & sleeping cream
3. The Mask House is heaven on Earth*-*

Hello Divine One

Lately I have been trying a new serum from a brand called S5 🙂 You probably noticed that I am moving more towards natural cosmetics, especially when it comes to skincare. I feel that it is very important to reduce the amount of chemicals we apply on our faces, body and hair. This serum is a miracle product, trust me, I tried it!

About S5
S5 was designed to solve skin problems using the natural ingredients from 5 most extreme parts of the world like Antarctica, the Wadi Desert in Egypt and the high mountains of Tibet.  The bioactives have naturally evolved strength and resilience to extreme environmental stress over millions of years. (S5 Website). These serums aim to protect the skin from the pollution, chemicals, UV and other environmental damage.

Replenish Serum
The replenish serum targets dry or scarred skin. Whilst I am not the person who has a lot o acne problems, I do get some occasional spots which then take forever to heal. My main skin concern is dry skin so this serum was perfect for me. It is 100% natural and 30% organic, so it does not contain any nasty additions. This serum targets dry and damaged skin with desert bioactves & omega 3, 5, 6, 7 & 9 to reduce redness, blemishes and premature ageing. It also aims to reduce stress on the skin, which helps the skin stay healthy, and reduces likelihood of sensitivity, redness, blemishes and premature ageing.

How I used it

I applied this serum to my cleansed face with my hands, massaged it in and left it on for 10 minutes. I then followed with a moisturiser. I like to apply serums first and give them a few minutes to work on my face. When it sinks in I add moisturiser to keep my face hydrated throughout the day or night. You can also mix this serum with your cream and just applying both products at the same time.
What I thought
I love this serum, it has an oily texture yet it sinks in very quickly and you only need a few drops, meaning it is very efficient. It has a sweet, natural smell which makes your beauty routine even more enjoyable. After using this serum my skin improved a lot, it was moisturised, brighter and the scars started to fade. The thing I like the most however, is that it is organic and natural. You can mix the serum with other S5 serums depending on what you need. So check out the S5 website for more info! (Available online & in Selfridges, Price £44)

Ania’s advice
1. Skincare is the most important part of beauty routine
2. Remember to cleanse, tone & moisturise
3. Give S5 a try

Hi Gorgeous

Hope your autumn is going well, mine definitely is 🙂 I have a few products that I would like to share with you today which I really enjoyed using during September. I have something from haircare, skincare and make-up so I hope you will like it and share with me what were your favourite beauty products x

Shwarzkopf Essence Ultimate Omega Repair Shampoo

This new range from Shawarzkopf has stolen my heart. I haven’t used this brand as much before so I did not know what to expect but I was amazed when I tried it. My hair is quite difficult to manage as it tends to get dry and tangled so the moment I use the wrong shampoo I will spend the next two hours untangling my hair. With this shampoo my hair has been looking great, hydrated and shiny again. This shampoo is definitely worth purchasing and trying (Available here £4.99)
Shwarzkopf Essence Ultimate Omega Repair Conditioner
The conditioner is always what defines a good hair range. The Ultimate Omega Repair Conditioner is divine, I cannot quite define the smell but it smells great! It is a very hydrating product, but it does not weight my hair down, so I can apply it on the whole surface of my hair excluding the roots (if that makes sense!). My tip is to leave it on for few minutes whilst you use your shower gel, do a face scrub or any other ritual. This will ensure that the conditioner has enough time to work through your hair and really nourish it. This range claims to repair inside damage hair cells & prevents split ends by up to 90%, and after using it I can tell you I believe it 🙂 (Available here £4.99)

The Body Shop Honey & Oat 3 in 1 Scrub Mask

This is already my second pot of this mask and I use it religiously. It is made of honey and oats so you can probably imagine how gorgeous it smells. It is a 3 in 1 product, meaning it is a scrub, a cleanser and a moisturiser in one. I apply it whenever I want a little pamper session and it really puts me in a great mood. Lovely smell, lovely results, lovely product! For a full review see my review of the mask here 🙂 (Available here £11)
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is probably the best drugstore concealer on the market right now. It provides great coverage, hides away any imperfections and conceals dark circles. In short – it does it all. I use it all year round especially during automn and winter when my tan fades away (Available here £4.19)

Burt’s Bee Honey Lip Balm
I always like Burt’s Bees as a brand… I started liking it even more after I saw the film Burt’s Buzz which was a great documentary and every beauty blogger should watch it! This is a marvellous lip balm, it nourishes dry, chapped lips and smells soooo good. I think the magic is in the bees wax, I love bees… and the best part about this lip balm? It is 100% natural *-* (Available here £3.69)

Sunkissed Bronzer in Medium
Lately, I was looking for a large bronzer which would look good on my skin and would have a bit of shimmer in it. I fount this one from Sunkissed and I really liked it. I am loving the packaging and the two different colours that you can mix in for darker or lighter shades. The bronzer looks amazing on my cheeks and it stays on for the whole day. And come on… it is very very pretty! (Available here £4.99)

Ania’s advice
1. Stay positive even thought is autumn
2. Send me your favourites
3. Go on an Autumn Haul

Hi Stunning *-*
Unfortunately the summer has ended but there is nothing to worry about as it is time for the beautiful Autumn. This post was inspired by my fellow beauty blogger, which posts I love to read featuring empties. Empties are products that I used up :). I hope you will like this post and let me know what you think about it!

L’Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil

This is one of my all time favourite products. This almond oil is formulated with more than 50% almond oil, and you can smell that sweet almond. It is also filled with Camelina oil which is rich in omegas 3 & 6. I used this oil during my evening routine, massaging it into my skin in circular motion to deeply nourish my skin. The results were almost immediate as my skin felt moisturised, and looked glowing. I also noticed improvement of my skin’s appearance, it was firmer, more supple and smoother. I love this product and I will definitely repurchase it.

L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
Since my hair is always dry and in need for moisturising and conditioning, I am addicted to hair oils. I recently tried the L’Oreal Elvive and I really liked it as it added shine to my hair, helped in daily care and nourished the dry ends. I applied 2 pumps everyday before brushing my hair and 1 pump after to get rid of the frizz.  It is filled with 6 flower extracts that will make your hair look great again. This is a product that is definitely worth trying. PS you can also use it before blow drying. (Available here £9.99)
Maybeline Lash Sensational Mascara

This mascara was part of my April Favourites and I just finished it. I still stand by what I said before, it makes your lashes look thicker, longer and definitely stunning. I can honestly recommend it! The packaging could be more interesting but that is the only thing I would change. (Available here £7.99)

Aveeno Cream

I discovered this cream when I was in Boots looking for a moisturising face cream. I have been looking for a while for the perfect cream that will not leave me with my skin feeling tight in the morning and so I decided to give this a go. Since I bought it, I have used it every day religiously and I  was amazed by the results. I never had a cream that would leave my skin feeling so moisturised, without making it look shiny and greasy. It has been designed for people with skin problems or dry skin, however I recommend it to friends everytime someone is looking for a moisturising face cream. First time I got it, it was 100 ml tube, then 300 ml and the next one will be 500 ml…  you get the idea… 🙂 Available here (£13.99)

Sanctuary Spa Shower Gel
I was searching for a nice summery shower gel, and then I got this when I got my scrub. I really liked this, as it smells of fresh flowers, so it instantly puts me in a good mood. It is quite thick and filled with moisturising bubbles which leave my skin not only smelling lovely but nourished as well. Available here (£5.50)
Ania’s advice
1. Start a beauty detox
2. Do not buy any more products
3. Just kidding 😉

Caudalie Instant Detox Mask
The Instant Detox Mask purifies stressed skin, treating all forms of free-radical damage. Its 99% natural gel-cream formula eliminates accumulated toxins and impurities that tightens pores and leaves skin texture feeling refined and rested. Use twice a week and leave on for a few minutes. Skin texture is refined, pores are tightened, the complexion rested.

  • Pink Clay and Coffee: Purify
  • Grape Marc: Detoxifies and drains
  • Papaya Enzymes: Delivers immediate radiance
  • Eight Essential Oils: Nourish Skin
What I thought? 9/10

I tried this mask when my skin was having one of those bad days. My T-zone was clearly visible, my pores looked wide and I felt far from perfect. I am picky when it comes to clay masks as they tend to dry out my skin, making it worse than to begin with. This one however is a great product. I used it few times and every time it improved the appearance of my skin. It cleaned out my pores and calmed my breakouts.
I kept it on for 5 minutes to get the best out of the masks. When it dries,  it becomes pink, but don’t worry, you will not get the uncomfortable pulled-tight effect on your skin, and mess when its time to remove it. What I thought? 10 /10

I am a fan of oils, and I am always on a lookout for new firming oils as they tend to work much better than creams or gels. I have dry skin, so another reason why I choose oils, is to nourish and soften any dry areas. I found the Activist oil to be a great product. I used it every day, applying it to damp skin and massaging it in circular motion. It really moisturised my body, and after a week of using I could already see that my legs looked firmer and healthier.

The Activist oil also promises to fade away scars if you use it regularly, and although I cannot guarantee that it does (as I did not use it for long enough) it did even out my skin tone. It is filled with  divine ingredients such as antioxidants, organic Almond Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Argan oil, Coconut oil and vitamins which contribute to making your skin look gorgeous. I will definitely purchase it again and again *-*

Teeez Desert Metals Mascara Midnight Skinny Dip
Go full out Volume or long lasting Longer. The long lasting, smudge proof Volume mascara gives your lashes a full and flirty look. The Longer mascara is extremely well suited to withstand hot and moist climates.

The formula is water based, which makes it easy to apply but also to rinse off with water, and it will stay on all day without smudging. The active ingredient Beta Maritima prevents your lashes from falling out and acts as an anti-oxidant.

What I thought? 7/10
Let me start off with the fact that this is a very great looking mascara. I love how it looks in my make-up bag, adding to it a very young and trendy feeling. I quite like this mascara, as it makes my lashes look long and thick. To keep your lashes curled for longer wiggle the brush back and forth at the base of your lashes and then swipe upwards.

It does not smudge which is very important for me as I usually apply mascara in the morning and I need it to last through the day. Its main advantage is that it has a water based formula, which is good for your eyes, and it also contains an active ingredient Beta Maritime which acts like an antioxidant. I like it but I would prefer if the brush was silicone.
